MEET Nicole

Hola! Here’s a little more about me….

I’m a speaker, educator, and advocate for women of color in the workplace. I worked in the tech industry for 13 years, helping brands like Google create inclusive programs, teams, and leaders.

My idea to start Her Era came from the struggles I personally faced while growing my career in tech, a desire to spread awareness about the barriers many women of color are facing in the workplace, and pave a new path to help other women succeed & excel.

I am a first generation college grad and received my degree in Latin American Studies from Wellesley. I bring an interdisciplinary view to my work based in a deep historical and cultural understanding.

about HER-ERA

Her Era is a spin on my last name (Herrera), but it’s also a mission I’m on to elevate women and break down bias and barriers in the workplace.  To make space for their voices and stories to shine through and create a new era, Her Era.

Through my content, I educate about small and large actions everyone can take to build a more inclusive workplace. I tell my own story of challenges I've faced as a Latina in tech, and share insights about what I know drives real transformation in organizations aiming to develop inclusive leaders, advance DEI, or increase employee engagement. My content  will spark powerful conversations, build community, and empower those around me to make change for good.

SO ARE you READY?

What’s one small thing you can commit to today?

THE time IS NOW.
